Stack Support Pipe and Bracket
PAM
Description
When stack support pipes/brackets are required, use on any building with an average of 2.5m between floors, positioning stack support
pipe at the base of the first floor, and then at every subsequent fifth floor.
This should be typically fixed to a wall or column.
A stack support pipe is not an alternative to bracketing, but an additional support bracketing.
Available in diameters 70mm to 300mm.
Stack support pipe takes over the forces generated by the weight of the water column and / or the accidental internal pressure (water loading of the network). It is similar to a mono-directional fix point (or double by using 2 rings), the axial force to be overtaken being in the direction of water flow, or upstream-downstream.
Stack support can withstand the efforts generated by 15 meters of maximum water column.
It consists of a cast iron support pipe, an EPDM gasket and a cast iron support ring.
